Laurie Martin (formerly of Williston), will be coming to teach a hands-on workshop featuring embellishment and surface design techniques. Laurie will focus Friday's workshop on embellishment and texture techniques, such as foiling, painting fusible web, beading, and distressing felt. She will focus on these but will include many more. Saturday's workshop will focus on a Art Quilt. You will need to bring a picture to class to inspire you.
Laurie will also be sending a trunk show to The Bent Pin soon, so you can see her work at the shop.

News update!! The Bent Pin will have a much bigger classroom area!! We will be expanding into the shop space next door! So far,there's a hole in the wall, but there is still much to do. We hope to have it all done soon, so you can spread out while you take a class!
Two of Andrena's four children are helping this week. We removed two layers of green shag carpet and found a beautiful hexagon tile floor bordered in hard wood. What were they thinking?? They put two layers of green shag carpet over that! Amazing! We will keep you posted as progress changes. Thanks for the support.
